Number Reputation Monitoring

Your customers stopped answering. Nobody told you why.

Carriers label numbers as spam and tell nobody. We check yours on AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile every morning, so the first you hear about it is an email from us rather than a quarter of missed revenue.

A line item on your Ahoy bill. No contract. Cancel any month.

A number can be fine on two carriers and dead on the third.

Three separate companies score phone numbers on behalf of the major carriers, and they don’t agree with each other. Calling a colleague to check proves nothing about the other two networks. That’s the gap this closes.

Two jobs: Watching, and fixing.

Monitoring on its own only tells you the bad news sooner. The reason to buy this from your carrier rather than a monitoring vendor is that we can act on what we find.

We watch your outbound numbers

Every number is checked against all three major carriers, every day. When a label turns up where there wasn’t one, you get an email that day naming the carrier. When it clears, you get told that too.

No email when nothing has changed. An alert from us means something actually moved.

Anyone can check a number once. The value is that this keeps happening after everyone has forgotten about it.

We tell you how to get it removed

Most labels on legitimate business numbers aren’t punishment for anything. They’re what happens to a number the scoring engines have never been told about. Registering it is the fix, and it’s the step almost nobody takes.

Every alert comes with where to go and what to file. On Protect Plus we skip that and do it for you, as the carrier that issued the number and signs your calls.

Clean today doesn’t mean clean tomorrow.

Reputation is scored continuously from how a number gets used, so a number that’s fine right now can pick up a label next month without anything changing on your end. Getting one removed is a job. Knowing about the next one is the service.

Most labels aren’t earned

They’re what happens to a number the scoring companies have never been told about. Registration is the fix for that, and it’s the step almost no business has taken. It’s also why we start there rather than filing appeals.

Want your name on the screen too?

That’s branded calling, and it’s a different product. Monitoring tells you whether a number is trusted. Branded calling puts your business name, logo and reason for calling on the phone as it rings. We do both, and they work well together.

Nobody answers a call that says Spam Risk.

Your call goes through. It rings. It just doesn’t get picked up, and there’s nothing in your call logs that looks any different from an ordinary missed call.

What People Ask First

My number is already flagged. Can you fix it?
5
3

Registering it with the companies that score numbers for the carriers resolves most cases, and it’s the step almost no business has taken. On Watch and Protect we send you exactly where to go and what to submit. On Protect Plus we do it for you and keep filing until it clears. Numbers with a real history of complaints are harder and sometimes come back, and we’ll tell you that plainly rather than quietly refiling forever.

How long does it take to clear?
5
3

It varies by carrier and we’re not going to quote you a number we can’t hit. Once a registration goes in, the timing belongs to the analytics companies. What we can promise is that we keep checking, so you hear it from us the day it clears rather than finding out by accident.

Why doesn’t my business name show up on mobile phones?
5
3

Wireless carriers mostly don’t look up caller names the way landlines do. An unregistered number usually shows the city and state instead. That’s normal and it isn’t a fault with your service. Getting your actual business name onto a mobile screen is branded calling, which is a separate thing we also do.

Who decides my number is spam?
5
3

Not the carriers themselves. Three analytics companies score numbers on behalf of AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, and separate apps like RoboKiller and Nomorobo keep their own lists. They reach different conclusions about the same number, which is why we check all three networks rather than one.

Will this stop my numbers being labelled?
5
3

Nothing can promise that, and be careful of anyone who does. Registering a number establishes it as belonging to a real business rather than a bad actor, which reduces the chance of a label considerably. It doesn’t oblige a carrier to treat you any particular way, and apps outside the carriers keep their own lists nobody controls. What we can promise is that you’ll know within a day, every time.

Does this change anything about my calls?
5
3

No. Nothing changes about your routing, your caller ID, or how your calls are signed. This is monitoring and paperwork on your behalf.

Is there a contract?
5
3

No. It’s a line item on your existing Ahoy invoice and you can drop it any month. We’d rather you didn’t, since a gap in monitoring is exactly when a label turns up unnoticed.

Add it to your account.

Pick a plan and tell us which numbers you call customers from. Monitoring starts the same day.
